Forest whispers

Slow down after summer: a September weekend in the Tuchola Forest

The barbecue among the trees

September doesn't have to mean an immediate return to full speed. Two nights in the forest can ease you into a new rhythm, without trying to catch up with summer.

INSPIRATION

September needn't mean an immediate return to full speed. Meetings fill the calendar and emails pile up, making summer's slower pace feel distant in just a few days.

Two nights in the forest can help you ease into autumn, without trying to catch up with summer or organising every hour.

Why September?

Summer fades gradually in the Tuchola Forest. Light softens, mornings cool and the woodland rhythm changes. There is still time for the terrace, with the warmth of the cabin and fireplace waiting later.

Take a forest road, a flask and a little time. You don't need a particular attraction or a distance to measure.

A plan that leaves room in the weekend

On arrival, unpack what you need and make a simple dinner. Your phone can stay in the bag.

Let Saturday find its own pace. Walk, sit on the terrace, read by the panoramic window or enjoy the spa. The hot tub is available around the clock without booking. Book the sauna in advance so we can prepare it.

Before thinking about the drive home on Sunday, make coffee and sit for a while. There is time to pack afterwards.

LoveLaski in September

LoveLaski has four year-round cabins tucked into the pine forest. Each has a fireplace and comfortable interiors. We welcome guests aged 15 and over.

The forest spa sits to one side and is shared by all four cabins. Please keep this in mind before booking. Guests enjoy the space with consideration for each other.

What to pack for early autumn

  • comfortable shoes for forest roads;
  • a warmer layer for the evening;
  • a book or notebook;
  • your favourite coffee or tea;
  • swimwear and something warm for the walk back from the spa.

You don't need an hourly plan. The forest, warmth and time are already here.
