Forest whispers

Quiet with a scent of pine: the first story from LoveLaski

The forest around LoveLaski

Our first blog post marks the beginning of the LoveLaski story, with updated details about our four cabins, shared spa and guests aged 15 and over.

This post opened the LoveLaski blog in January 2025. We have kept it as the beginning of our story and added current context so it reflects the place today.

Today, LoveLaski has four year-round cabins in the Tuchola Forest and a shared forest spa, welcoming guests aged 15 and over. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.

This is the forest

The forest is central to this place. It changes the light inside the cabins, sets the pace of the day and reminds us that not everything needs an immediate response.

Panoramic windows let you watch the pines from your bed or armchair. Sometimes the best part of the morning happens before your first walk.

The scent of a quiet morning

Summer air may smell of warm wood and pine needles; autumn of damp forest floor. In winter, fireplace smoke mingles with cold air when you open the door.

It is not absolute silence. There are birds, wind, rain and footsteps on the forest road. But the constant city noise is far away.

Four cabins, a small place

Our small scale leaves room for privacy, while guests share some of the grounds. The spa, barbecue and campfire area work best when everyone is considerate.

The hot tub needs no booking and is included in your stay. The sauna is booked in advance. Simple arrangements that help keep the spa peaceful.

For those seeking something quiet

LoveLaski does not host loud stag parties or stays centred on noise. We welcome guests aged 15 and over and have no facilities designed for young children.

Come as a couple, with friends or with your dog by prior arrangement. The common thread is a wish for a slower pace.

Stories that followed

Since that first post, we have written about building LoveLaski, birds, our first spring, winter evenings, unplanned rest and simple forest rituals.

The blog remains a quiet forest voice, with practical details too. It answers questions before you book and helps you picture a stay without extravagant promises.

Morning in the Tuchola Forest: the scent of quiet

Imagine waking in a quiet wooden cabin. Mist lifts slowly above the forest. Pine needles, damp earth and resin scent the air through an open window. Outside, you hear birds and leaves in the breeze.

Wrap yourself in a warm blanket, make coffee and watch the first sunlight reach between the branches. There is time to sit with it.

At LoveLaski, we designed the cabins to feel at home in their surroundings. Wood, forest air and space to breathe make it easier to settle into a quieter rhythm.

Morning walks become part of the day: soft moss, resin and dew on leaves. For a while, you can simply notice what is around you.

Perhaps that is the break you need: a little distance from the rush and time close to nature. Come to LoveLaski and make the forest your home for a while.
